About the Innkeeper
Caroline Coalter Wilson was a park ranger and naturalist with the National
Park Service for 20 years before moving to Tucson.
She co-authored Canyons
of Color: Utah's Slickrock Wildlands and has written several other smaller
publications on natural history.
She designed Paca de Paja, an energy efficient
strawbale home, and was part of the construction crew to build it.
She currently
works at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and loves hiking and camping.
From the guest book:
"Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous house with us and giving us a little of its construction history. As a hostess you come as close to perfection as we have ever experienced. "
